How It Works

The filter sits inside the air box and forces incoming air through pleated media. The folds increase surface area, trapping tiny particles while still allowing strong airflow. As the engine breathes, only filtered air reaches the intake manifold, supporting stable combustion and consistent power.

If the Filter Is Dirty or Damaged

When clogged, airflow drops and the engine may feel weak, hesitate on acceleration, or consume more fuel. You can also see black smoke, rough running, or an engine light caused by incorrect air readings.
